We value our work
At Carol Bruguera we are changing things, we work every day to give value to our work, we know that this change in attitude must be born from the hairdressing professionals themselves and to do so we have started to dismantle the old myths of our trade.
Myth 1 — Hairdressing is very poorly paid
At Carol Bruguera, the salary of a hairdresser’s assistant is over €1,300 in payroll. Imagine the rest of the team.
Myth 2 — There are more hours than a clock
The hairdressing agreement marks a total of 1755 hours per year, which are fewer hours than those marked by the administrative agreements, clothes assistants, sports club monitors, ITV reviewers, to comment on just a few specific examples. Therefore, hairdressers work fewer hours than the vast majority of sectors.
Myth 3 — You have very little free time
Our hairdressers can spend more hours doing what they love most: family, hobbies, sport… At Carol Bruguera, the reconciliation of work life and family life is a priority, for example there are shifts that start at quarter past two from 10 in the morning. In addition, our schedules are intensive, so you can concentrate your working day.
Myth 4 — There are few vacations
At Carol Bruguera we have developed a management system for our teams that allows you to combine your holidays as you wish. Do you want to take more vacation days? As long as you complete the annual hours you belong to, even enjoy many more.
Myth 5 — It’s a monotonous and boring job
Nothing could be further from the truth. At Carol Bruguera we are passionate about hairdressing and every day is a world. We are restless, active and never stop creating hairstyles, making new collections, photoshoots, hairdressing shows, video tips, events… We have different creative teams so that everyone can bring out their inner artist.
Myth 6 — Those who don’t need to study become hairdressers@
This is one of the good ones! To be a hairdresser you need specific skills that not everyone has at all, and to be a good hairdresser you need to train well, study and learn constantly and permanently. It is a living profession that constantly evolves and that forces us to always be up to date. At Carol Bruguera you will travel to train and you will complete a minimum of 6 first-level trainings per year.
